About HeritageIQ

Built around farm work.
Designed for credible origin information.

HeritageIQ begins with a practical question: how can records made on the farm become useful information for the people buying its coffee?

Farmer-led

Start with reality.
Keep the context.

HeritageIQ is being developed through practical farm use in Kenya. Coffee is the first commercial focus, connecting everyday record capture with the information behind a coffee lot.

HeriShamba is the capture app. HeritageIQ organises records and supporting origin information. They are connected products with different roles.

Farmers and managers need a manageable way to record work. Buyers need an understandable view of origin, contributors, supporting evidence and information gaps. The pilot is intended to inform both needs.

Initial pilot setting

Kinondo Farm, Embu County.

Kinondo Farm was established in 2005. Its farming background includes coffee alongside dairy, poultry, black soldier fly farming and integrated shade crops, with solar irrigation and biogas among its practices.

Kinondo Farm provides the initial setting for practical software testing. HeritageIQ is the record and origin-information product; Kinondo Farm is a separate farming enterprise.

Farm background is not a measured software outcome or independent sustainability verification. Documented pilot results will be shared only when approved.
