Coffee provenance, built on evidence

Proof from farm to cup.

HeritageIQ turns farm activity, harvests, processing, quality, custody and evidence into a verifiable history of coffee — connecting every lot back to its origin.

Trust should be built from the record itself.

HeritageIQ connects what happened on the farm with what happened to the coffee afterwards. Instead of asking buyers to trust a marketing claim, we preserve the evidence needed to examine it.

01

Origin

Coffee is connected to the farm and the authoritative farm boundary that existed when the event occurred.

02

Farm record

Operations, inputs, harvest observations and supporting evidence create the production history.

03

Mass balance

Processing follows exact coffee quantities, including outputs, by-products and losses.

04

Passport

A published Digital Coffee Passport assembles the trusted history into a human- and machine-readable record.

One history, from field activity to finished lot.

HeritageIQ preserves the links between agricultural activity, harvested coffee, processing transformations, quality, custody and the commercial lot presented to the buyer.

01

Farm

Identity, geography and the production context.

02

Operations

Inputs, field activity and supporting evidence.

03

Harvest

Recorded coffee quantity and harvest observations.

04

Processing

Exact mass through each transformation.

05

Quality + custody

Quality records and changes in possession.

06

Passport

A published record that can be independently examined.

Built first on a real working farm.

Kinondo Farm in Embu, Kenya is the flagship HeritageIQ implementation. The farm is being used to build and prove the complete traceability workflow before HeritageIQ is expanded to other coffee producers.

The goal is practical: capture the agricultural reality, preserve the evidence, connect the coffee to that history and make the result useful to producers, buyers and auditors.

Kinondo Farm · Embu, Kenya

The farm is the proof ground.

Nursery, field establishment, water, soil fertility, microbial inputs, harvest, processing and quality become one connected agricultural record.

Every important claim should have something behind it.

HeritageIQ is designed to preserve evidence alongside the operational record so traceability is more than a chain of labels.

Farm geography

Versioned farm boundaries preserve the geography associated with historical events.

Inputs and operations

Receipts, usage records and field operations establish what happened before harvest.

Quality observations

Quality records remain connected to the coffee they describe without altering provenance.

Processing provenance

Exact quantities document how coffee moves through transformations and into new lots.

Published integrity

Digital Passport publications preserve an immutable snapshot of the verified record.

Scan the coffee. See the record.

A HeritageIQ Digital Coffee Passport is the public face of the provenance system — assembling origin, attributable mass, harvest, processing, quality, custody and supporting evidence into one published record.
